Meadow Cottage is a very comfortable, renovated stone cottage nestling on the edge of a beautiful meadow, flanked with trees and hills.

The old fashioned cottage garden with its stream and trees is the perfect haven to share the peace and quiet with the wealth of wildlife - badgers, foxes, red kite, heron, wild duck, buzzards and many small birds.

The cottage is approached by a farm track and the nearest property is 350 metres away in the same valley.

The nearest town is Llandovery which is 3.5 miles away so a car is essential. The town has an interesting history which is well explained in its Heritage Museum. There is a small fortnightly Farmers Market during the summer & several pubs and places to eat.

Meadow Cottage sleeps four. The cosy lounge and large kitchen are well equipped with all that you will need to make you feel at home.

There is a small pond in the meadow, stocked with small fish for the hobby fisherman. For the keener angler, Springwater Lakes, a few miles away provides four lakes set in 20 acres of the beautiful countryside, overlooked by the Cambrian Mountains.

Visitors might like to visit Carreg Cennen Castle, Gelli Aur Country Park, Aberglasney House and Gardens, the National Botanic Gardens, Dinefwr Park & Castle, the Dolaucothi Gold Mine and the Red Kite feeding station at Llanddeusant.

For a perfect day trip, places to visit include the Dan yr Ogof Caves, the coast at Tenby, Laughane, Newquay and Pembrey Country Park.
