At the end of a farm track this secluded farmhouse offers its visitors a quiet, restful escape from hectic city life.

The nearest property is 350 metres away and the nearest town is Llandovery, which is 3.5 miles away so a car is essential. The town has an interesting history, which is well explained in its Heritage Museum. There is a small fortnightly farmers market during the summer & several pubs and places to eat.

The lake, which is twenty paces from the door, is stocked with a variety of fish for the hobby fisherman. For the keener angler, Springwater Lakes, a few miles away provides four lakes set in 20 acres of the beautiful countryside, overlooked by the Cambrian Mountains.

Visitors might like to visit Carreg Cennen Castle, Gelli Aur Country Park, Aberglasney House and Gardens, the National Botanic Gardens, Dinefwr Park & Castle, the Dolaucothi Gold Mine and the Red Kite feeding station at Llanddeusant.

For a perfect day trip, places to visit include the Dan yr Ogof Caves, the coast at Tenby, Laughane, Newquay and Pembrey Country Park.
